Indeed, Andy.Russ, during Tom's WMFU guest DJ evening a few years ago, he made the only political statement he's made that I know of: after playing Rod McKuen's "The Beat Generation," he repeated one of the spoken parts: "Put a Beat in the White House." So I'm guessing he might have written in Lawrence Ferlinghetti.
