Re: (TV) Congratulations Yanks!

You really think?
I would bet that there are a lot nasty dudes out there sharpening
their scimitars and oiling up their AKs in anticipation of Bush's
departure. Keeping the wolves at bay is the one thing he was good
at. Are they all supposed to just turn around and love us now?
Probably the only accurate thing that has ever came out Joe Biden's
mouth was that Obama will be tested soon, but I do hope he was wrong
(again).

Watching misty-eyed hoards spewing adoration for Obama is just sad
and frankly kind of creepy, especially when it's people that don't
even live in the U.S and have no idea of what this guy is about. The
best you can hope from any pol is to do the job and not screw things
up too badly in the process. He is only a smart, hard-nosed,
ambitious politician (proven, among other things, by taking on and
beating the Clinton machine) who had unlimited money to spend, ass-
kissing assistance from a press and media that has become a branch of
the Democrat party, and an opponent that was too honorable to do what
was necessary to win. Add to that a tsunami of discontent and fear
over the economy and 98% of blacks voting for Obama and McCain never
had a chance.

So he won the job fair and square, it's his for 4 years and we'll
find out soon enough what he's going to do with it. The Dems are in
complete control now with no one left to blame, ridicule and complain
about. Please, please just turn off the reverb on his voice and
lower the teleprompter so he isn't looking down his nose all the time
when he gives his speeches, or some night I'm going to have to send
an empty wine bottle through my very expensive TV. Maybe better to
just watch something mindless like the Food Channel for the next few
years...

BTW, how's that new Television album going guys?
