It's also a matter of taste...  Richard's playing really rocks, Tom's is more "experimental."  My personal preference is clearly in Richard's camp, but that doesn't mean that I think Tom sucks.

I think it's more a case of Tom has now stopped trying and Richard
_works_ (develops, changes, gets out and does it)?
