Just got back from W. Coast. Three Rivers, CA  - land of beautiful 
Giant Sequoias and lovely green hills; it reminded me of some lines  
in Television's "Days" 

My friend who lives in Three Rivers lent me some old tapes 
I had made for her 14 years ago.

Neil Young - American Stars & Bars
The Byrds first 4 albums + best of
Sam Maghett (aka Magic Sam) early blues stuff on Cobra records
Ann Peebles - Who Will Stop The Rain
Soundtrack to The Fabulous Baker Brothers
Roxy Music - In Every Dreamhome There Is A Heartache
The Individuals - Walk By Your House (featuring Jon Klage 
who once played in one of Lloyd's bands)
Jim Carroll - Rooms
X - In This House That I Call Home
Lene Lovich - Home (Is Where The Heart Is)

But best of all:  I have 2 cd import copies of Verlaine's 1st solo 
album which just don't sound quite right (to me) and 6-7 vinyl 
copies/pressings which sound somewhat better. 3 days ago I got from 
E-bay for only $10 a Canadian pressing of this 1st solo record that 
was still shrink-wrapped and had never been played.  It sounded gorgeous.
