I don't think there's anything sleazy about it. Music is meant to be heard
live. I'd be happy if a no-name bar band was playing MARQUEE MOON live; it's a
bonus to have most of the original lineup doing it. Just wish it were a bit
closer to Boston! Or that there was any chance of a decent recording emerging
from the show (or a broadcast). 

Let's remember, Lloyd voluntarily left
Television. Perhaps they should be billed as the Tom Verlaine Band, but that's
another debate.

Seems like the Melbourne show doesn't generate much enthusiasm in
here... and
I have to agree about it. If "MM" was to be performed in another
half-backwards part of the world -- like Scandinavia, for instance -- I'd
definitely attend because this is, after all, Television, although not in its
optimal line-up. An event like this without Lloyd in the equation -- isn't
there something... sleazy about it?
