Yeah...
I can't imagine the MM album without Richard's playing and solos on it. 
Anyone who's seen Television in the previous decade must have noticed 
that Lloyd was doing all the thrilling (guitar) work and that Verlaine 
was coasting although, of course, he was getting all the attention. I'm 
reminded of Richard's comment in the recent interview when he said that, 
after Television reformed they showed audiences that it was no longer 
Tom's show but a /band's/ show. I suspect that Tom's happier with Jimmy 
Rip in the band but I imagine that the tension which produced much of 
the thrill is gone. I'd like to be wrong,  though .
