Re: (TV) Best of 2008

Off the top of my head, STAY POSITIVE by The Hold Steady. Frenetic, lyrically complex songs that reveal a bit more with each listen (and I'm not generally a big one for focusing on lyrics).

How about now?  For new 2008 releases, I have to say Earth's _The Bees Made Honey in the Lion's Skull_.  Gorgeous, trance-inducing, and a significant step into exciting territory that makes sense now, but wouldn't have been at all predictable back when they made _Earth 2_.

What about yinz all?
