(TV) BS as TV prototype

Hi fellow TV fans,

I am right now having the pleasure of listening to a Buffalo Springfield 
bootleg "The Missing Herd-Live Stock"(thanks, Steve!)and hearing some August 
1967 live cuts such as Mr. Soul and Bluebird I am reminded of Television in 
the sympathetic if not telepathic guitar interplay between Stills and Young. 
 And hearing Stills say the Zappa line, appropos of nothing, "Brown shoes 
don't make it" in Bluebird, is a hoot.
