Maybe I'm Asking Too Much? / RE: Patti shares some memories &The NY Times

Hi,

I am not a subscriber to the New Yorker (nor to the NY Times). Is there any
way someone could post the New Yorker's Patti Smith short piece to the
tv@obbard.com Mailing-list (or even to Facebook's Marquee Moon : A
Television Channel)? When I go to either Patti Smith's link to her New
Yorker piece or the NY Times Obituary of Tom I keep getting
shut-out/blocked by both unless I click on a button that reads: "You Must Be
A Subscriber/Join Here".

It's been quite difficult for me recently, but I hope to post to
tv@obbard.com list (and maybe even to Facebook's Marquee Moon : A
Television Channel ) a kind of mini-tribute to Tom by late tonight or
tomorrow. But it's been a struggle.

Leo

These words are astoundingly beautiful.

He left this world surrounded by people that loved him. That someone can so
eloquently convey the love they had for someone, how that love was shared
across families, in just a few paragraphs has left me stunned.
