Thank You Maurice, Joe, and Bob for your help. I am now receiving WFMU live
on my PC.
I'll blame my lack of facility to do this on my own on last night's eclipse
of the super-moon! :>)

Hi Leo! That wfmu.pls is a file that you can open in any application
that can play streamable mp3s--iTunes, VLC media player, WinAmp,
whatever you usually use to listen to online streams. (For me, it plays
right in my browser. Popping that file open, it just contains URLs to
different stream servers they use.) What happens if you hit one of the
streaming servers directly?
