A bit late in appreciating Wilco, it took seeing a video recording from the
livestream of their 2012 Primavera Fest. set to provoke a "wow" response here.
Only Mazzy Star's 2012 Primavera set impressed as much. Someone has upped the
whole 1-hour Wilco set to youtube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aF8Rsc_V1C0
A fine selection of Wilco songs, old & new, well recorded & performed. They
play quite a few songs from what was (& still is) their latest album "Whole
Love". I think I've since heard all their albums, but like "Whole Love" best.
Others here who've lived with Wilco's albums longer will no doubt have a more
discerning opinion than mine, but that's my take FWIW.
Also fond of this
Wilco uplugged live video set they did for NPR in 2011:

Scott, Love Wilco
In my view, first two albums are just very enjoyable US
rock albums, 2nd
album has a few real gems, but the rest are ALL awesome and
should reside in
everyone's collection!
