Funnier still, "Norm" appears briefly in the outstanding new Replacements
documentary Color Me Obsessed, wondering out loud if Here Comes a Regular
might have been inspired by Cheers.

Well, one can only wonder if, had Norm been partying at a Verlaine show,
they equation might have reversed itself.  I'm betting we'll never get a
chance to find out.
