Gosh, I misspelled "too" twice there. I'm beat.

i've read the book, it's well done. it does talk a bit about all of patti's
"boys" being in the studio together (tom and allen). but i hardly think
lanier was in a position to criticize to harshly for infidelity.
i just read the 33 1/3 on "horses" -- lots of theory, some of it quite
conjectural (and frankly, i think, to academic).
there's new patti bio due out in august:

i hope it's better than the bockris bio, which i didn't love.

Was Alan Lanier sp? also involved in the making/recording of this album? I
think I read that things were a bit tense during the recording because of all
the people together...that being Tom and Alan. Does it talk about that in
that book

Hey y'all,
I was hoping to get maybe some of your thoughts on this. It was just sthg
I've been thinking about lately and someone mentioned that they had read a
book on Patti's album Horses here.
I read sthg on-line from a unauthorized book on Patti on the net and it
said
that she had others helping w/ the album. I know that John Cale produced
it
and Tom is credited w/ co-writing the song 'Break it Up'. But I was
wondering, do you think that Tom was much more involved in the creation of
this album then he was actually credited for?
I shall try and find that quote again that I ran across the other day which
got me to thinking on this.
Any thoughts on this at all?
