Apart from MOB and Death, I'd say check out these: Broadcast are very 
good (and very different).  Were I there, I'd be inclined to check out 
Shonen Knife for the nostalgic naive pop fun, and Growing for the 
avant/stoner metal drone.  I've heard good things about Crystal Antlers 
as well, but don't know them.
