I like to think that the Minutemen would have lasted a whole lot longer than did Husker Du. Watt, and maybe D.Boon, is seems such a "team" player. Watt would have followed Boon anywhere.

The closest analog to the Minute Men I can think of would Husker Du - and
they imploded by 1987.
