This is a profoundly cool find, Michael.  Never thought I would see
the bands in these videos ever again; what a blast from the past.

I have no doubt the three of us were at least some of the same shows
-- I used to go the the Rat, The Underground, Cantones, Inn's Square,
the Channel, Chets Last Call, Thayer Street etc all the time, but
especially the Rat, as it was just 3 blocks away on Beacon, right
above Brookline Liquors.

My god those were good times. I have a great recording of the first
BCN Rock and Roll Rumble at the Rat (Neighborhoods vs La Peste).  A
killer show: I remember stumbling out of Rat that night into into the
cool night air, my ears just ringing, and thinking my god, am I ever
in the right place at the right time...

PS - I just discovered a neat trick with the videos on this site:
once a video is playing, if you change the trailing suffix in the
address bar from "html" to "swf", as in

  http://www.kinodv.net/movies/archive/MOB_Tremelo.html

to

   http://www.kinodv.net/movies/archive/MOB_Tremelo..swf
