With me it was just prosaic. I was reading the UK music press and the 
reviews of MM were such that I decided I had to check it out.

Can't remember if at the time I was connecting the leader of Television to 
Horses, which had already won me over, but as soon as I heard Tom's voice I 
was reminded of Patti. The guitars were something else...
