	hadnt realized that sounded so harsh until it came back to me.

	perhaps --not only perhaps-- i was just disappointed verging 
on embittered that tom verlaine himself has gotten stuck w/ making 
stuff for mtv & its masses-- i remember when all of us from them were 
violently, desperately opposed to the whole mess of it-- guitar is, 
of course, good, couldnt stand the vocal--
