None at all.
I meant Steve W when he was in Traffic, not when he became the Producer of
Dinner Party Music of choice for people who found Dire Straights CD too
raucous.
In the early 90s, Paul Weller did a set at Tower Records (In a trio, which
made it better than the proper show he did that night), and the introduction
was something like, "The greatest Soul singer the UK has produced since
Steve Winwood, Paul Weller," and I thought "Of the four concepts in the
sentence, great soul singers, produced by the UK, Steve Winwood, and Paul
Weller, I would NEVER have put any two together."
