(TV) Brief mention of Television in naughty book

Just finished Allan McDonell's "Prisoner of X", about his long career 
working for Larry Flynt's Huster Magazine. Apart from entertaining inside 
information about this publisher, it's also autobiographical and have some 
glimpses of the sub-culture in 70's Los Angeles, and that's where Television 
appear in a short sentence.

Considering some of the clientele in this discussion group, this piece of 
literature might already be well-known, but it's a recommended read for 
anyone who's interested in issues like freedom of the press and adult 
entertainment. Who isn't?
