(TV) Photography question

Hey everyone.  I've got a couple of questions for you.

-Does anyone know if TV and/or Tom allow photography at their shows? 
I'd love to take some shots at the May 15 show in DC, but I'd have some 
semi-pro SLR equpiment, and I know many artists won't allow such 
photography without a photo pass.  I posted a message on 9:30's forum 
but haven't gotten an answer yet.
-Speaking of passes, does anyone know the best way to get one for Tom's 
show?  I wrote to Thrill Jockey about two weeks ago but haven't gotten a 
reply yet.  Anybody else I should try?
