(TV) Vocals & Vox Populi
Let's face it, one of the problems TV--and some other
artists--face is that most people (i.e., the general
album-buying/downloading public) when hearing a new song
(or even a not-brand-new song), listen more for the vocals
and not the music itself.
E.g., my sister-in-law (whom I dearly love) compares every
new song to how its vocals compare to those of her favorite
artist[?], James Taylor.

Which is a shame, because while "Adventure" is (or at least has often been)
underrated, I definitely believe that "Dreamtime" and "Flash Light" are
better, and "Tom Verlaine" is at least equal to it (and the reunion record
is close). However, it must be said that...

heard them and agreed with me...

...MARQUEE MOON is still the best record of the batch and always will be.
Sometimes, about some things, conventional wisdom holds.
