I'm guessing you haven't been there in a while. I'm told that they've had a makeover in recent years. I could be wrong, though. I don't even remember the last time I was there but it has to have been ages ago, maybe the early 90s, even. I remember realizing that they'd gotten rid of the pinball machines and thinking that it was a bad sign.
Since we're on the subject, I saw Richard Lloyd there several times in the 80s, but the only time I saw Tom Verlaine was at The Ritz. Was he really that much more of an attraction or is this an example of what a record company promo department can do?
