Sorry I'm slow in replying to e-mail. 

I don't check my mail often enough.

I read the January MM archives today. In 
answer to a question: No, I didn't know 
Tom when he wrote Little Johnny Jewel, I 
was about 12. Tom said he has always liked 
the "J" sound, as in "Jay". 

I think it was Jay who inquired on the list 
recently if I was a chain-smoking thin heroin
chic type. 

Leo, you may post this e-mail to the list. 

Dear Jay, I never smoked except for the 
occasional joint and some Baudelairian hashish. 
No cigarettes, crack, or heroin, although I did 
work the runway with Kate Moss in the late 80's 
but my breasts were too large for me to qualify 
for heroin chic status and that's why I was demoted 
to bikini model,which didn't bother me too much 
since I grew up on the California beach, 
where I ended up. 

Beaufiful day today in Laguna. I haven't seen 
Tom in about six years but I remember him as 
being incredibly handsome. 

Miss you all, especially that cute 
wag Keith Allison.
