Here, at the beginning; 
  
there, toward the end. 
  
Faster waves breaking 
  
on an empty, sandless shore; 
  
circles circling circles 
  
circling squares. 
  
Around and around it goes: 
  
Clouds sucking sunlight from the sky 
  
whirling in and out of feeling life, 
  
flowers gathered in a room 
  
filling a quiet place with 
  
fragrant spells. 
  
Afraid to drown the sounds made 
  
when she laughs or cries.
