(TV) OT: An amazing find: The Misunderstood

I accidentally discovered this band , that apparently went  nowhere : 
'The Misunderstood' , a Yardbirds inspired garage psych- punk band that 
- TV and RL must have heard somewhere at somepoint. You can download

They had a song called 'Children of the Sun' that is over the top with 
amazing fuzzed-out vibrato guitar worthy of Neil Young and/or Tom 
Verlaine. These guys had an early chance at fame in late 1966 when they 
went to England after John Peel heard them. Things fell apart soon 
afterward though... I found out about them by perusing the Terrascope 
website <http://terrascope.co.uk/>.
