It's not just Television. Seems like most American bands of the late
70s/early 80s did't do Peel/BBC sessions, no matter how big they were
(Blondie, Ramones, Cars, Talking Heads, etc) although there might
have been a concert broadcast on the BBC from time to time.
Probably the most likely time Verlaine would have done a Peel/BBC
session would have been when he was living in the London in the
mid-80s. Guess it wasn't to be, though.
