This was really well done - Scorcese should stop trying to make epic feature films and concentrate on the sequel, No Direction Home 1967-2005.
An interesting comment by Allen Ginsberg in part 2 - about the 'shamanistic' aspect of Dylan's performances; "transforming himself into a column of breath".
What is the deal with this mythic motorcycle crash of his, anyway? Obviously it was a traumatic experience - but I've never read any accounts of what actually happened - the disaster, and what came after.
