Finally, feeling a bit of superiority over Jimi!

As I recall from reading Frank Zappa's biography, Cynthia said Jimi
was so taken with the process (the molding material apparently heats
up as it sets) that he fucked the mold.

I wonder if Richard's cast has ever made it to a museum.
