The lyrics don't strike me as frivolous.

What the song means is certainly debatable.  My gut
reaction is it is written to a woman, and it is not a
love song.

Without any real evidence (ha ha) to support my
opinion, it has a noirish, femme fatale, just desserts
feel to it.

But what the fuck do i know.
