Good article, Jay- thanks for posting it.
You know, although almost nothing compares to their first two albums and same-period ep's, I think the mid-90's Gang of Four albums Mall and Shrinkwrapped were very good, quite hard and artistic at the same time. I think they get short shrift (is that the right term?) from critics, and that they are very underrated. And the show of theirs that I saw in '93 or '94 in Boston (at Axis or one of those Lansdowne St. place) just rocked me to my core.
