Can anyone confirm (or have an opinion) that he didn't play guitar until 
17! (doesn't seem possible--akin to a Tiger Woods not even trying 
golf until 18 years old)? 
 
Why not?  I didn't start till I was 30 and only two months later I was
offered a spot in the Eagles lineup!  It all fell apart when I told them I
didn't use cocaine - funny, I thought it would mean more for the rest of
'em.
