1985 is pretty early for alt-country, but I can't really argue.  You only
have to hear Tom sing one Hank Williams song . . . 

A 1989 release bundles Fear and Whiskey with a lot of other stuff including
Gram Parson's "$1,000 Wedding".  

The Mekons are always worth the price of admission.
