(2) is interesting. Similarly, I always wondered if some of the
mixing choices made on the "lost" mix of TOM VERLAINE was the result
of Tom trying to get a "weirder" sound in the studio, something he
and Fred claimed they tried (unsuccessfully) while recording
ADVENTURE a year earlier.

We probably said the same thing in 1993, before Infinite Zero
reissued it. You never know!
