(TV) (OT) John Cale in Boston

Apropos of nothing, just got back from seeing Cale and band play the 
Paradise. Absolutely wonderful show -- tight, muscular, playful, with 
songs from all over his career (including "Venus in Furs" w/ viola 
obbligato), fresh arrangements, a decent band, and a fully charged 
Cale. Great to see a musican his age firing on all cylinders, makes me 
feel less woeful about missing TV in NYC last week. If he's coming to 
your area, catch him.
