RE: (TV) Verlaine at Ramones film opening
I went to see it at the Edinburgh Film Festival at the weekend, they've done
a really good job on it, theres two (I think ?) good quality clips of
television in it and Dee Dee talks about them and the song Venus at one
point
its a snappy film which means anyone with an interest in rock'n'roll would
enjoy it, but I'm sure that means some of the stuff thats more interesting
to the Ramones fan didnt make it to the movie, e.g. theres a few clips of
Clem Burke talking but it doesnt mention the fact that he was briefly Elvis
Ramone, but maybe the DVD version will have some more treats for me and
anyone else who's misspent youth was soundtracked by them
interview with one of the directors on my website if anyones interested

I'm just back from vacation and catching-up on email; did anyone see
this mention of Verlaine in the Boston Globe?
