I have to get in on this: I am also a non-musician, in the sense that I 
can't read, or even remember stuff like modulation, modes, coda, 
whatever. Of course, none of you have ever heard of me - I couldn't even 
get my act together enough to contribute to the TV tributes. BUT I am 
playing again, with a band, and we are 'clicking', IOW, we all get along 
and like what we do. The guitarist and I only recently started tabbinbg 
out songs we wrote 20 years ago (it's a long story - we ended up in teh 
same place again, 18 years after we lat saw each other)
ANYWAY, I have been making music for many years, and sometimes people 
like it, even!

I really have no idea what the hell I am doing, but I love making those 
noises!
