Yes, Let's hear it for the new genre: "geezer rock"  !!

Dave T. wasn't about to hang from the rafters, for sure.....but

The drummer is Steve Mehlman, who played in later incarnations of Ubu but
also a veteran of Cle band The Vivians.  He's a powerhouse drummer, and more
than holds his own amongst the geezers.

that became clear as soon as rftt came onstage.  no
special costumes, leather, spikes or studs or affected
attitude -- and no way dave thomas would be hanging
from the rafters or rolling on the floor.
