As far as loyal fans go, the Japanese are the best - when is the last time you
saw so much newsprint dedication to Television, anywhere in the world? Not
since 1993, anyhow. And they were the first (and only place) to have Verlaine's
first two solo albums on CD, way back in the early 1990s, and later to issue
the BEST OF compilation CD. Not to mention keeping Richard Hell's FUNHUNT in
print long after it disappeared here. I bet Television will be warmly received
on September 25th.
