i'm a fan, tho with reservations.
always found lesley woods' voice a little too stiff & the lyrics a bit too inflexible...hammer over the head syndrome at times.
but they had some great ones.
think i prefer other female fronted bands of that time period/milieu tho (ie. essential logic, kleenex/liliput, raincoats, etc...)

sounds remind me of Television's in some ways. Au Pairs are long gone and
forgotten but I still think they were even more underrated than Television.
