RE: (TV) Laughner

I believe it was just one or possibly two shows:
Source: Clinton Heylin's "From The Velvets To The Voidoids".

However I recall an interview in which Richard Lloyd
says this never occurred or that Richard was never fired
for these few days but that Richard was just sick and
couldn't make these one or two shows.

Can anyone help me here [Philip who has
practically memorized every word of the Heylin Book's
Chapters on Television----or Keith or anyone]?.

Also recall the short "firing" of Lloyd (or Richard
deciding to leave) to have been brought on by the
very strong disagreement between Tom and Richard
over Tom wanting to release LJJewel as the band's
first single. Leo

Hi gang-

This was posted on another list yesterday (about a recent RFTT show):

>Filling in for Laughner on guitar was Richard Lloyd, nicely ironic
>considering that Laughner played with TV for about three gigs in 1975.

This is false, right?

Cheers,

Brian
