I agree with Mark on "Foxhole"---it is on my short 
list of least favorite Television songs.

I also concur about the lyrics being too direct. 
I think it wasn't so much an attempt to  write 
a protest song as write a song that might've been 
related to the word/album title "Adventure" , as 
in a 'soldier of fortune', 'undertaking unusual 
risks', etc.

Also don't like song's guitar solo.

ps: I remember one reviewer commenting on the irony
[deliberate[] of an album named Adventure containing 
a song entitled 'Careful' (another of my least favorite 
Television songs---I realize taste is subjective).
