Re: (TV) OT: Warren Zevon on David Letterman

I caught it. It was touching, really. I love watching Letterman when Warren replaces Paul for a few nights. When people discuss underrated musicians, Zevon is rarely mentioned, and that's a shame. It's nice that Dave is such a fan and we get to hear him on the show once in a while. I wasn't expecting that turnout last night - seeing him so humbled...
For anyone not familiar with him, I'm quite fond of _Bad Luck Streak in Dancing School_. Have a listen. 

The irony in his album titles of the last several years is quite eerie.

Wow--thanks for the reminder, Russ. It's a shame about Warren, but he's certainly handling it in an inspirational way. Anybody else catch the show?
