true punk is a fiction which had some media interest mainly due to Steve 
Jones swearing on tea time TV, its just a rock n roll do it yourself lineage 
sometimes through choice and more often through neccesity (and the list 
above is just an example - everyone can draw their own family trees)

but the real answer is the Ramones.
