(TV) (OT) GoBetweens

Hi all

For those interested, I went to see the GoBetweens (well Forster and McLennan 
acoustic anyway) live in Sydney last Friday night.  It was a fabulous show.  
They played a large portion of the Friends of Rachel Worth as well as a good 
selection of stuff from their older albums and some tracks from their solo 
albums.  They also played  two new songs.  On the night Forster made the 
comment that earlier that day they had laid down 15 demos of new songs which 
will be on an album for release probably early next year.  Cannot wait for 
that

Also have tickets to see Radio Birdman who are doing a few Australian shows 
to promote the local release of the Sub pop compilation.  What a great year 
for reunions having already seen the New Order and Television earlier this 
year.
