Re: (TV) There's more to life than books you know...
There is also an obscure reference in a book called
Desolation Road by Ian McDonald where a lanky man with
big hands, a cigerate and a Television in his stomach
strolls into town with his guitar. He winds up having
a guitar duel with another man (Lloyd) and they wind
up destroying each other. The town is shocked,
amazed, stupified, etc. by the performance.
The there is the obvious Patti Smyth book and Rock and
Roll PBS series.
