(TV) Definitely On Topic
Was just sat here by my PC listening to a programme on BBC Radio 2 about
censored records then Stuart Maconie's Critical List began. He opened the
show by saying something like as this is the year of the Queen's Golden
Jubilee I thought we would look back to the Silver Jubilee. So all the album
tracks this week come from 1977, a great year for albums but we'll start off
with the "cream of the crop".
I fully expected to hear something from Never Mind The Bollocks kicking off
but no......I was wrong. Crashing through my headphones came the opening
chords of See No Evil. Nearly fell off my chair. Now I really did get
goosepimples that time. A really lovely moment. He said some nice stuff
afterwards. Luckily I had been recording the previous show so got the
beginning of this as it was still running.
Anyone else hear it?
