(TV) Bunnymen

The Bunnymen are still going, I've seen them a couple of times in the last
12 months and are as good live as ever. Will Sergeant's guitar is superb,
perhaps better live than on record

Mac's voice however has gone a bit croaky. Its fine on the quieter songs
which gives them a sort of nightclub feel but it loses purity on the louder
songs - sounding distinctly average.

The Live in Liverpool CD (and accompanying DVD) are good, much better than
the Live at the BBC from 1987 but some songs are a bit jaded and need to be
played loud.

The last studio album, Flowers is much better. I probably played it as much
as any other album last year.

Ocean Rain is being re-released this year along with a Live in Gothenburg
live album.

and they're playing again in May - whooohooo
