Re: (TV) Nice Television review in Big Takeover
Well, I guess I should qualify...I mean I have really enjoyed The Who over
the years and Pete's guitar playing has surely had an influence on my
own...ect. Quite honestly though, I'm just slow-burning that no one in this
news group has had anything to say on the subject matter of my original
post. ;-/ . It irks me that Jay chose to reply to my post to make a post of
his own - that in my mind had nothing to do with what I was talking about. I
have nothing against either Jay or The Who. I just would like to make a
request that people try to stay on topic - especially when the posting is
quite new. Doesn't anyone have anything to say about a Television review in
The Big Takeover ? Does anyone have anything to say about The Big Takeover
as an example of post-punk post-20th century music journalism ? Even that
strikes me as a more appropriate turn for the topic to take than a
discussion of The Who . Okay, I'm done ranting... Discuss .... ;-) - Russ
