I dig everything you say there .
I'm a massive U2 fan , have been for 20 years , and I'm well aware of how
they're ways are clumsy and can appear bloated .

All I can say in their defence is that I know they always mean well , and
that there was no irony meant in the SB performance .
I believe they were trying to lift people with their performance .

Maybe above their station and what's it got to do with them are both valid
arguments but let's face it they come from a country with enough misery of
it's own , so they know how to deal with it .

That's all I ever say on the subject of U2's big gestures - They mean well !

As for the guitar level in the mix , I had my TV up so loud that didn't
matter :-)
As an Englishman I love American Football and was pleased I managed to stay
up until 3.30am to see a tight finish . Great game - congrats Pats !
